Pasta di Giuditta for Prezzo:)

I haven't made any posts in English so far. This blog is running in Hungarian-as only Hungarian people follow it-as far as I know, but who knows...:)
BUT this is a very special occasion. I made this pasta for Prezzo's competition for their staff: " Create your own dish!"
That's why I decided to make this post in English, they might check it here:) So Dear Prezzo Judges and Everyone, enjoy :)

Tagliatelle with chicken and mushrooms in a creamy lemon-basil sauce
aka.
"Pasta di Giuditta"

Ingredients /serves 1/:
125 gr tagliatelle ( or any other pastas, e.g.:penne)
150 gr chicken breast
125 gr mushrooms
3 fresh basil leaves
juice of 1/4 lemon
150-200 ml single cream
olive oil, salt, pepper
Decoration: slice of lemon, 2 basil leaves

Preparation:
1.Cook the pasta in salty water, make it "al dente".
2. Clean and cut the chicken breast into thin stripes and season with salt and pepper.

3. Peel the mushrooms and cut them into thin slices.
4. Put some olive oil in a saucepan and fry the chicken stripes until they get golden brown.

5.Add the mushrooms and fry them together for further 3-4 minutes.

6.Pour the single cream in the saucepan, add lemon juice and cook until the sauce gets thicker /2-3 minutes/.
7. Finally add the finely chopped basil leaves.
8.Mix the pasta with the sauce, put one slice of lemon and two basil leaves on top and serve straightaway.

Hope you will enjoy it:)
